Our History
Perry Hall Children’s Center was founded by a group of parents who recognized the importance of parental involvement in the education of young children. We are located at Saint Michael’s Lutheran Church. Since 1972 we have served families who had a special desire to share in their child’s first school experience. We believe the efforts, individual talents , and the direct involvement of the parents during the school day make for a unique educational endeavor. Because we are a cooperative preschool, the administrative responsibilities of the school belong to the Board of Directors.
Philosophy
The mission of the Perry Hall Children’s Center is to provide a place where children may grow academically, spiritually, emotionally, creatively, physically, mentally and socially through organized activities as directed by the teachers. The school has developmentally appropriate programs in a nurturing, loving, safe and stimulating environment, in which parental involvement enriches the learning process.
